Submission Guidelines

Paper Submission Guidelines, Peer Review Process, and Publication Ethics

The conference invites submissions of high-quality, original research papers and case studies that advance scholarly knowledge and professional practice in relevant fields. Submissions should demonstrate conceptual clarity, methodological rigor, and meaningful academic or practical contributions. All manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions comply with accepted standards of academic integrity, research ethics, and proper citation practices.

Selected peer‑reviewed papers may be considered for publication in the Scopus‑indexed book series Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics published by Springer Nature. Acceptance for presentation at the conference does not automatically guarantee inclusion in the proceedings volume. Only papers that successfully complete the conference review process and the publisher’s editorial evaluation will be considered for publication.

Paper Submission Guidelines:

Stage one: extended abstract submission

Authors must initially submit an extended abstract of approximately 1500 words for preliminary evaluation. The extended abstract should clearly present the research problem, objectives, methodology, and key or expected findings. It should provide sufficient information to allow reviewers to evaluate the originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution of the proposed research.

Structure of the extended abstract

  • Introduction
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Findings or expected findings
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion

Keywords: Authors must include four to six keywords that accurately represent the central themes of the research.

Formatting requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12-point
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Citation style: APA 7th edition (DOI numbers not to be included)

Stage two: full paper submission

Authors whose extended abstracts are accepted will be invited to submit a full paper.

Word limits

  • Research papers: up to 6000 words (excluding abstract and references)
  • Case studies: 4000–5000 words (excluding abstract and references)

Formatting requirements

  • Times New Roman, 12-point font
  • 1.5 line spacing
  • APA 7th edition citation style (with no DOI numbers)

Originality and submission requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original contributions.
  • Papers must not have been previously published.
  • Submissions must not be under review elsewhere during the conference review process.
  • All sources must be properly cited and referenced.

AI usage declaration

Authors must disclose whether artificial intelligence tools were used at any stage in the preparation of the manuscript, including writing assistance, language editing, data analysis, or image generation. Undeclared AI usage detected during checks will result in the removal of the manuscript from the review process.

Plagiarism policy

All submissions undergo plagiarism screening before peer review and again prior to final acceptance. Papers containing plagiarism, duplicate submission, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected.

Peer Review Process

  1. Initial editorial screening

All submissions undergo an initial screening by the editorial committee to ensure that the manuscript aligns with the conference scope, follows formatting guidelines, and meets ethical and originality requirements.

  • Double blind peer review

The conference follows a double-blind peer-review system in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and novelty of the research
  • Relevance to conference themes
  • Theoretical and conceptual contribution
  • Methodological rigor
  • Clarity and coherence of analysis
  • Significance of findings and implications

Editorial decisions will include:

  • Accept
  • Revise and resubmit
  • Reject

Author revisions

Authors whose manuscripts require revisions must respond to reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified deadline.

Final editorial evaluation

Accepted manuscripts undergo final editorial assessment, including plagiarism re-check, formatting verification, and ethical compliance review.

Publication decision

Only papers that successfully pass both the conference review process and the publisher’s editorial evaluation will be considered for inclusion in the proceedings.

  • One final screening of accepted papers for best paper awards

This will be conducted by top scholars in the awards committee in order to select the best paper awards for each track and for the dissertation award too. Criterion will include originality, valuable contribution to the literature and scholarly creative thinking.

Editorial Governance Structure

The academic quality of the conference proceedings is overseen by an editorial governance framework consisting of volume editors, a scientific committee, and a review board. These bodies supervise the review process, maintain academic standards, and ensure transparency and fairness in manuscript evaluation.

Manuscript Selection Criteria and Acceptance Policy

Manuscripts are selected based on scholarly merit and relevance to the conference objectives. Key criteria include originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of writing, and significance of findings. The conference maintains a selective acceptance policy to ensure high academic quality.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts represent original work, properly cite all sources, and accurately report research findings. All listed authors must have contributed significantly to the research and approved the final manuscript.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The conference adheres to internationally recognized ethical standards in academic publishing and follows principles consistent with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and improper authorship attribution, will not be tolerated.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of a manuscript. Reviewers and editors must recuse themselves from evaluating submissions where conflicts exist.
